About Us

Payeday – one in a thousand, not just one of a thousand

Payeday are a well established, local company who have their roots firmly in Essex. From the early days where the company was run from an out-building at the Directors home, to a prime High Street location in Rayleigh, Payeday’s experience in successfully running payrolls means that we know how to handle every possible problem that any business could ever encounter. And what sets us apart from the others is our versatility. We use every aspect of new technology today to give our clients what they want and what they need. For example, the reports we produce are particularly simple to understand, just one of the features of the software that we use.

As a BACS approved bureau, we out-compete local book-keepers working from home who do payroll as a sideline, and at the same time, out-compete the industry big boys as we offer a much more personal and cost effective service.

How payeday is helping save the planet...

We have a collection point for the recycling of toner cartridges based in our Rayleigh office, with all the proceeds going to Little Havens Hospice

We also are active in recycling all our waste, including chocolate wrappers!, and promote a paper-free environment with our paperless payroll. Everything but your payslips are sent to you via email.

Plant a tree for every client we get. Carbon offsetting...in association with Essex Wildlife Trust.
